Using SLT at Low Energy To Potentially Treat Glaucoma And An Experimental Compound To Potential Treat Retinopathy

Dr. Tony Realini (West Virginia University - Morgantown, WV)

Dr. Chris Schafer  (Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Oklahoma City, OK)

Dr. Tony Realini of West Virginia University goes over a study on mice, which compares using selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) at standard and low energy levels to potentially treat glaucoma.

Then, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation's Dr. Chris Schafer explains how an experimental compound was developed to target a specific class of proteins in mice to potentially treat retinopathy.
