On our second new September show, we'll have Dr. Pinakin Gunvant of the Southern College of Optometry and Dr. Khan Iftekharuddin of the University of Memphis discussing Pseudo 2d Fractal Analysis, which measures the thickness of the retina in diagnosing glaucoma.

Also, Dr. David Gamm of the University of Wisconsin will explain how normal skin cells could potentially be manipulated to become retinal stem cells.

On the September 12 show, we'll have Dr. Mark Prausnitz of Georgia Tech's School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering explaining how extremely small needles, called microneedles, can be used to deliver drugs painlessly to the eye.
Also, Dr. Wolfgang Fink of Cal Tech's Vision and Autonomous Exploration Systems Research Laboratory will explain the part the Artificial Retinal Implant Vision Simulator (ARIVS) plays in the overall Artificial Retina Project at large.
